From start to art
A products journey from a empty piece of leather to a finished item has many steps. After finding your new leather item and we agreed on the details i will start the work. Details and size will determine the order time. Normal delivery time is around 4-6 weeks but can vary due to amount of orders in pipeline.
All my products are made from scratch. The work begins with a blank piece of hide, like a canvas waiting to be painted.
The leather gets cut out and prepared for pattern and tooling. I often draw my patterns on freehand which gives unique products and not like the other.

When tooling is in place the leather needs some time to dry before it is time for coloring. Depending on color choices the process is different. I dye many of my browns myself and all the details are handpainted with a brush. Bright colours are painted with a acrylic paint specially made for leather.
After color and finishing is made the items are built together. Belts get buckles, bags get assembled and stitched together. Before delivery they get a last treatment så you can start using your new leather love immediately.

If you need to clean your leather goods, use a mild soap.
Oil or grease?
Dry leather usually needs grease while a stiff leather needs oil to soften up.
